Talking Sticks are held by a person who speaks while others listen. While holding the stick, the truth is spoken to the centre of a group with no thought of influencing others. Each person is one point in the circle representing one viewpoint. Those who listen do so with an open heart & mind. The talking stick is passed to each person in turn around the circle and in the ceremony one learns about options, choices and respect.
